Hi,
I did miss this one. As far as I know it's possible to use CQL_FILTER
against
mosaic layers, it will be applied to the mosaic index attribute and it's a
neat
way to filter things beyond the limits of WMS dimension support.
Silly example, only display files whose path contains a 4:
http://demo.geo-solutions.it/geoserver/nurc/wms?service=WMS&version=1.1.0&request=GetMap&layers=nurc:mosaic&styles=&bbox=6.346,36.492,20.83,46.591&width=768&height=535&srs=EPSG:4326&format=application/openlayers&cql_filter=location%20like%20%27%254%25%27
"location like '%4%'
Try it out, let me know if it works fine.
