Dear Geoserver,
I am currently designing a webapp which needs to 'host' different modules.
Geoserver has a nice module architecture and therefore I would be very
interested in having answers for these questions:
(1) Is the module architecture of Geoserver based on a standard?
(2) Is the module architecture of Geoserver isolated and can be as such
reused for other webapplications?
(3) Why is Geoserver having its own module structure and not using the Java
Portlet Specifications JSR 286?
