I know this is an old question and hopefully you have figured out something to work for you. But you shouldn't need to set the min and max extents of your data in the dbview. If you save a view, the text file will have lines like "EDB_PROF_YMIN","-5" but if you just delete those lines from your text file, it should auto scale to the extents of the displayed line. ---
