Hi Ed, Thanks for all the info. The thing is I don’t have a voxel to begin with. I’m working with a GM-SYS 3D model.
Indeed, the GM-SYS 3D model can be exported to a density voxel. But that involves a major decrease in the vertical precision, so basically you’re losing a lot of data in the conversion… Michal > On 29 Jun 2016, at 01:27, edcunion <[email protected]> > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Michal, > > If you don't have a database to begin with but just a voxel, a database *.gdb > can be created directly or created from an exported XYZ that's then imported > into a GDB using the 3D->Voxel Conversion options below- > > <Mail Attachment.png> > > > There would be other ways using other softwares like Excel too, to create a > spreadsheet file that could then be imported into a *.gdb to slice voxels for > population with array values, > > Ed > > > > > > > > On Monday, June 27, 2016 2:35 PM, author.nameemail <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > Hi Ed, > > Thanks for the information, I wasn't aware of this feature til now. > It's not what I'm looking for though.
