Sothe recipient has the conversation in context, yet individual users
with special circumstances still have the option of hiding them.

I hide heavily nested quotes in Claws,making mails easier to read on
my netbook's small screen, but they can still be read at the click of a 
mouse.

There are some micro-organisms that exhibit characteristics of both
plants and animals.  When exposed to light they undergo photosynthesis;
