Yep, that fixed it! Bugger! :)

I think an extra /tmp partition is extremely useful, because I don't want
THAT much writing-activity on my / partition. Writing is always error
prone, especially in a case of spontaneous shutdown (which can happen
at a laptop quite easy -> working without AC-adaptor....) and a process
currently writing to a file in the /tmp breaks my complete / filesystem.
So I can simply reformat my tmp-partition and go on like nothing has happend ;)

I think it would be great to fix it in the baselayout / baseinstall or
even mention it in the install documentation (I hope I have not overread it ;)) ). I 
know a couple of people who use this partition layout.
