I think the aim of EasyXL is to be a standalone project and that its
dependency on POI libs is going to lessen over time.
POI is over 20 years old and while it works, a major mistake (in
hindsight) was made by relying on XMLBeans and now too much code is
dependent on that.
EasyXL has the advantage of being able to build without this millstone.
I don't think we should artificially try to merge the 2 projects.
There are plenty of instances of projects that have overlapping
features with other projects.
