Hi Incubator community,

Seems I’m a bit confused about one step in the process. After some offline
checks and internal discussion, we concluded that—because the Rust client
is a sub-project under Apache Spark and the Spark PMC vote has already
passed <https://lists.apache.org/thread/mj3ggbsqhjr2lblffmyn1rq5zcfckcrn>—we
could go ahead and merge the initial import PR to the new repository:
https://github.com/apache/spark-connect-rust once we have the ICLA
confirmations for all four contributors.

If I’ve misunderstood any part of the donation workflow, please let me
know; otherwise I plan to merge the first PR within the next 48 hours.

Thanks for your help!! :)

Best,

Yuanjian
