I've been having trouble with offline mail, so I uninstalled gears intending to reinstall the Firefox plugin.
However, I can't find the Google Gears plugin available for download anywhere. The Google Gears homepage (gears.google.com) only offers links to the FAQ and Developer Forum. No downloads are available. The odd thing is that when you attempt to activate Offline Mail in Gmail, it still directs you to the Gears website, even though Gears is no longer available for download. What happened?!
