You are right. It doesn't reproduce with the patch to fix the gcc.dg/attr-warn-unused-result.c FAIL on x86_64 with -m32. The above testing was without that patch (but I stipped the known FAILs that patch fixed ...). I'll double-check on native i586. Richard.
