This is by no means a release-blocker for 4.3 - the arm community would have to
do something about this earlier.  Also relevant benchmarks (CSiBE) show an
overall improvement of 4.3 compared to 4.2.

When it comes to speed, it seems to me that I could reflect the benchmarks. When the goal is size, we have a problem, but I've misread the "stage 3" stuff, ignore me for the moment :-)
