Nobody expects you to: if things break for Solaris in Go/libgo by a
merge from upstream, I try to get things fixed in the gcc tree and the
changes are pushed back later (or rather: first integrated upstream and
than, often simulaneously, merged back into gcc).

Which says what? Your current policy seems to massively impede
contributions.
