No worries. You do not need to use the web tool at all. You can simply reply to these messages.
As long as you keep re...@codereview.appspotmail.com in the CC and do not remove the "(issue NNNNNN)" string from the subject, your message will be added to the issue log (similarly to how bugzilla works).
