I agree it's a candidate, but I can't get either the original test or the
slightly smaller one you checked in with this patch to fail with gcc-15. It
may just be latent -- the basic code structure is still in gcc-15, though in a
different place.
Going to wait on you to decide best course of action here. I'd slightly lean
towards closing, but I could support other sensible actions.
