--- Comment #15 from TCH <tch at protonmail dot com> --- I'll try to recompile GCC 6.5 with GCC 5.5 again, but this time not with just '--with-gnu-as', buth with also '--with-as=/usr/local/bin/as'. Perhaps that will fix this.
