To summarize the difference between our setups: My setup (that fails): - binutils-2.14.90.0.4-35 - No special configure --enable flags (except enable-languages=c++) Your setup (that works): - binutils-2.15.90.0.3 - configure with: --enable-threads=posix--enable-__cxa_atexit [ and enable-languages + enable-shared] I untarred, and compiled a clean gcc just to make sure - and it still fails (with my config flags).
