--- Comment #5 from Richard Earnshaw <rearnsha at gcc dot gnu.org> --- Yeah, all the changes are in the linux kernel module. It's only one component of the benchmark (though probably the largest). Adding -fgnu89-inline is also sufficient to fix the code size regression. Increased compile times are (probably) just a side effect of generating the additional code.
