which seems pretty reasonable to me.
Output from -ftime-report shows

0 kB ( 0%) ggc
df live&initialized regs: 5.76 (13%) usr 0.02 ( 2%) sys 5.79 (12%) wall
0 kB ( 0%) ggc
I am not sure if further tuning of these routines is required or not.
