resurrecting this:
just checked with gcc version 4.7.0 20110910

-mveclibabi=svml
-LwhereverYouhaveIntelSoftware/linux/x86_64/Compiler/11.1/072/lib/intel64/
-lsvml  -lirc

and sincos does not vectorize nor emits svml symbols (sin, cos independently
are ok)
