About the error being thrown, we do it intentionally, but I agree we shouldn't.
I filed bug 599890 upstream.
About java-prs, I don't see why it only fails with this email recipient.
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java-prs/2010-q3/ indeed shows that no bugmail has been
sent to this mailing-list since I upgraded Bugzilla. Looks like the move from
Qmail to SMTP is blocked for this recipient for some reason.
