That @n is definitely a pasto: there is no n among the parameters. And the
semantics definitely boils down to taking the whole C string. Understand that
often the documentation is not written by the same people maintaining the code,
unfortunately. Anyway, I'll fix it as soon as mainline unfreezes. Thanks for
pointing it out.
