I downloaded http://valgrind.org/downloads/valgrind-3.3.0.tar.bz2 and attempted to build valgrind on HP-PA 1.1 and MIPS systems running Debian Linux 4.0. On both systems I got the message "configure: error: Unsupported host architecture. Sorry" -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=36139
