Certainly lately we have got plenty of succesful builds on x86_64-linux and other linux platforms (just look to testresults). Something mysterious is going on during the build: bits/c++locale.h includes cstdio which then doesn't find the normal stdio.h facilities in the global namespace?!? Maybe submitter could attempt narrowing the problem somehow, for example by building snapshots older and newer...
