I'm hoping someone has come across this behavior. In Freevo, playing a
vob with mplayer I get about 50% CPU used. Great. (HyperThreading is
turned on, I should turn that off) When I copy and paste the same
mplayer command from the logs in a minimal twm/X11 session... It uses
1%-5%.

Latest Gentoo
xorg-server 1.3.0.0, free radeon drivers (xvideo enabled) on an ATI 9550
Freevo 1.7.6.1

It's as if it is not using xvideo when in Freevo?!
I run... freevo -fs

Command:
/usr/bin/mplayer -slave -autosync 100 -nolirc -nojoystick -autoq 100
-screenw 1360 -screenh 768 -fs -ao alsa -vo xv,sdl,x11, -nofontconfig
-cache 5000 //mnt/bob.vob -vf pp=de

Thanks,
Scott

PS- I'm back with new hw after 2 weeks of trying Mythbuntu. Freevo for
over 6 years now!
