Welp, after performing the changes I still get the infamous; Your session has expired. Please log in again.
This used to work but no longer does and I'm unsure when it changed. Perhaps after an update. UI logins do work on Linux work stations that are joined to the domain. Pl can change passwords via the passwd command etc...
