hi jim, i think you should feel free to rename filenames to a unique system e.g. program_yyyy-mm--dd -at least within a single command. creating subdirectories is nice but not absolutely necessary if the user knows that the latest version is always on the bottom. indeed I have slowly moved to more "sorted directory listing
friendly" date formats, but it would not be a problem for me
if you decided to rename all files lbacache_yyyy-mm-dd.zip
style and put them all in ONE directory. Then one can see
at one glance what is available, without having to go up
and down to go in and out each of a pile of subdirectories.
