I'm forwarding a question from Michael ([email protected])
about drivparm. This is a feature from MS-DOS that is not in FreeDOS.

I haven't used drivparm in *years* and I have no memory of it, so I
said I would forward his question to the list (he's unable to join the
list for some reason).

Michael's question:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I am trying to switch an application over to FreeDOS from MSDOS. I
have a VersaLogic VL-586-1 with embedded MSDOS in flash memory that is
drive A:. Drive B: is a floppy drive. The application running on A:
needs to access the floppy occasionally - but it doesn’t.
[I think I understand Michael's problem to be that the application is
unable to access the B: floppy using FreeDOS. -jh]

The config.sys file has a line:

drivparm=/d:1 /f:7

This is not supported in the latest FreeDOS.

Can you point me in the right direction for some support on this?
