Well, I beg you consider things aren't so bad, for the USB storage devices  we 
want to serve are "mobile"
almost by definition - it would be surprising to find an internal USB disk ! 
Most users will be able to and also want to move the device back and fro 
between their DOS OS and a more powerful OS, on the same or another computer. 

Furthermore, not all DOS maintenance utils require int 13, for instance  
Scandisk works with big sectors too.
It may have problems with "too large" partitions, but it's not related to 
sector sizes.

Whatever, after successful testing the 32-bit access on a DOS partition created 
near the end of my 1 terabyte unit, I hereby declare phase one of "operation 
4K" a win :=) since it fulfills my needs for file interchange and archiving.

I'm now anxious to hear from Jason - or another maintenor? - about the 
possibility of upgrading DOSLFN to work along with this.
