This is the link to the DOSBox build that contains NE2000 emulation.
With this version of DOSBox you can load the NE2000 packet driver and
then use DOS networking applications. I use it for initial testing of
mTCP code; it allows me to test the code on the same box that I use for
development. (After initial testing I move to a virtual machine, and
then real hardware.)

Remember, DOSBox is not real DOS. There are some notable differences,
like the Ctrl-Break handling. It is primarily designed for running
older games on newer hardware. But it does very well for a lot of
applications, and it is convenient.
