Thanks for that. However, welcome to a world of non-Linux users. 
Downloaded QEMU from the ReactOS.org website, downloaded above mentioned 
file and renamed to bios.bin. Even downloaded the Coreboot patched 
vga-cirrus file and put that in its place.
Running into the following error, as if QEMU rejects any non-default 
BIOS image (unless the size needs to be specified somehow somewhere).:
C:\rosqemu\files>qemu -L . -m 128 -hda ReactOS.vmdk -no-kqemu
qemu: could not load PC bios './bios.bin'

My interests currently go no further than virtual machines, so I wonder 
what the limitations of VMware and Qemu bios space is.

Good to know..now only to fix up my Linux skills sometime.. waiting for 
Coreboot/Flashrom LiveCD I guess.
