-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello
I have testet the version 2.20 of EMM386 under QEMU. The good news is, that the PS/2 driver of GEOS now works. Unfortunatly, it seems that this version breaks FDAPM. I use FDAPM to keep the CPU load off QEMU low and to shut down the QEMU instance. Shuting down QEMU worked with all versions of EMM386 before. With version 2.20, QEMU starts using 100% CPU of the host when issuing the command "FDAPM POWEROFF" and I need to kill it. A screenshot can be found at "http://geodb.org/fdapm.gif". I tried on two different QEMU versions (4 month old and current CVS). The kernel has been 2035b-cvs 1.12.05 and the 2036 from Eric Auer. COMMAND.COM either 0.84-pre XMS_Swap or 0.84-pre2 XMS_Swap. HIMEM.EXE was 3.20 or from the EMM386 2.11/2.08 package. Japhet, how did you traced the IF problem with QEMU ? Maybe I can help a little bit too or provide more infos.
