True, however in my experience (a) the positive value added the by the
content of Mark's emails FAR outweighs (b) the negatives of a person
choosing to work, within the constraints and very many peculiarities of
email, in a way that pleases the person.

That's how I view things. The broken threads are annoying, but Mark
adds so much value to this lists, that it's not an issue.

And yes, some of his posts are verbose, but if I'm not interested in
them, I skip over them. Simples!

My only gripe with the posts on here is not related to Mark - there's so
much top posting and lack of reply-editing. It's like eternal September
here these days.

But ultimately, these lists are a resource that I don't feel are abused.
You've summarized my feelings exactly. So I've not got anything to really add to
this, but a "me too".
To those whom find the verbosity otherwise undesirable. Dismissing it is only
one click away. Is that *really* so difficult? ;-)

Thank you, Mark. I have a rig I've been wanting to put FreeBSD on and your posts keep me familiar with what I need to know in order to make that process uneventful.
Appreciated.
