If we're going to do this (and I'm all for anything that improves the
read-onliness of /usr/src) I suggest that we can hide all of the pain of
changing the process behind popularizing the buildkernel and
installkernel targets. Thus, when someone wants to paint the bikeshed
yellow in a few years the users won't have to be re-re-educated.
