Hey folks. Wondering if anyone on the list has any technical know how and experience with an AVL Coyote slide controller. It's a unit that you can use to program and run a three projector slide show, either by loading the commands into the unit , or via a sync track on an audio tape.
I'm working with an artist to resuscitate a work of theirs from the early 1980s. We have an AVL Coyote, and the 4 track audio tape that holds the show sync information, but can't seem to get the show to run. I do know that the Coyote works, as it powers on and I can manually control slide projectors from the buttons on the Coyote. Perhaps the input that hears a sync signal is broken? but the circuitry that sends commands to slide projectors definitely works. Looking for someone that might be able to help advise on it in some capacity, thought I'd try my luck here....
