Hi Alan

Please, don’t talk about „American explorers” – it was the crook Robert E.
Peary who “stole” the meteorite. It was also him who took the Inuit with him.
He was a pretty shady character as can be read in many, many books.

Cheers

Ingo

Betreff: [Frameworks] IRISH / INUIT - 12 hours left to fund!

Dear Filmmaking Friends,

There are just 12 Hours left to fund ‘The Iron Mountain’. Thanks to the kind
support of artists and filmmakers around the world, the film is nearing its
goal - just a few hours left to support it.

The film will retrace the steps of a Greenlandic Inuit family that were brought
to Manhattan by American explorers in 1897. The film will be a low-budget
non-commercial project, which will be finished in studios in Ireland - the West
of Ireland doubling for Greenland in the summer!

It’s called ‘The Iron Mountain’, after Meteorites that the Inuit helped the
explorers to locate and bring to the American Museum of Natural History.

Here is the IndieGogo link to the funding campaign;

It's also been generating a lot of attention in the Irish media. Here are a few
interviews;

I hope you find something interesting there and I’ll look forward to showing it
to any of you that choose to support it.

Many thanks!

Alan Lambert
