That’s important work, which for some festivals sometimes seems like a bit of a bs configuration. Though, it is the festival viewer / critic that spends the sometimes difficult and time-consuming work of assessing all of these films. If they’re making more money and not expanding their festivals, why not pay some of the artists? It also seems like this is a case-by-case.
