hi,

i have a peculiar problem trying to install foresight on a machine here.
i initially tried to just boot a disk with an existing installation, but
that would fail with an error in the initrd, even though the same disk
booted fine on other machines.

installing works, so the installer is able to boot and run the machine.
but after installing foresight fails to boot.

insmod: error inserting '/lib/ext3.ko': -1 unknown symbol in module
insmod: error inserting '/lib/ata_piix.ko': -1 unknown symbol in module

a look into the initrd shows that there are missing module dependencies.
i tried manually building an initrd image which fixes those
dependencies, but i am not having much luck.

it looks like lvm support is missing too.

greetings, martin.
