When I built the kernel with that warning,
"
> $ make install
> sh /usr/src/linux-2.6.20.1/arch/i386/boot/install.sh 2.6.20.1
> arch/i386/boot/bzImage System.map "/boot"
> WARNING: No module ata_piix found for kernel 2.6.20.1, continuing anyway
"

I get the following when I boot it:

"
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
Red Hat nash version 4.2.1.6 starting
Reading all physical volumes. This may take a while...
  Found volume group .....................type lvm2
  2 logical volumes ........................now active
Enforcing Mode requested but no policy loaded. Halting now.
Kernle panic - not syncing : Attempted to kill init!
"
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Satish
