I have a problem. A few weeks ago, I installed the latest fail2ban on
my Ubuntu server, then realized that I really need to have the IPv6
version. So I just installed the IPv6 version without uninstalling the
release version that I had previously installed.

Now when I attempt to use fail2ban-client to unban an IP address, it
doesn't work ...I get the error message of: "unsupported pickle
  protocol: 4"

Can anyone recommend a clean, straightforward way to fix this?
