n - because a youtube url is a web page, not a video stream. it's basically
impractical to put such a feature into terminology as it requires
screenscraping the youtube web page, faking being s browser an finding the real
video stream url. this also requires continues continually changing your
screenscraper to keep up with google changes to the youtube web page conent and
there is no way in hell we'll do that because google has no official way to get
a simple media stream url, and no good incentive to provide one (if they did -
they'd provide one - eg a download plain stream link). going to a media stream
bypasses all the advertising youtube puts in.
