Hi,

I'm sorry to bring this topic up (google shows this issue has been
discussed before ;-)) but I have to make sure I'm not missing something.

I've read rasters warning here [1] and rather old discussions like [2]
or [3].

I'm using E 0.18.2 and have "prevented all forms of pointer warping
'cause some applications prevent the mouse from leaving a popup/dialog
window (which drives me mad).
Unfortunately I'm also pretty used to the sloppy focus policy when I do
use the mouse, I'd rather not change this to "Click to focus".

Of course I'm running into the mentioned issue that switching windows
using ALT+TAB does not necessarily focus another window, unless it
happens to be at the mouse pointer position.

I'm looking for a way to keep sloppy focus while preventing windows from
grabbing the mouse (such that I can't leave a certain window anymore).

Is it possible to keep windows from grabbing the mouse? This way I'd let
E warp it around again.

Is it possible to enable mouse warping just during window switching?

Is it possible to warp the mouse just at the end of window switching (as
explained in [3])?

Is there any other solution to my misery?

Thanks,
Christoph
