Some more info if it helps. I am using fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04. No applications downloaded from Synaptic. Since plain dependencies installation via aptitude did not work out, I also downloaded e17 libraries from Synaptic.
May be that downloaded additional X11 binaries ?
