if you have "--enable-strict" delete this you can try esvg http://code.google.com/p/enesim/source/browse/trunk/utils/scripts/esvg_build.sh or add --enable-image-loader-generic to evas and build evas_generic_loaders http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/browser/trunk/evas_generic_loaders
