Hello,

I'd like to have different 'Desktop' folders shown on different
workspaces. Because 'traditionally', and in case of e17, the file
manager handles the 'Desktop' folder, I guess, that efm is the right
target. Because it is the most flexible product, I'd wish efm to
do it. But I'm also fine, if not best pleased, with 'views' of type
'edge sliders' that look like translucent panes to be drawn in from
aside or the like. The only four things I care about are that:

1. each pane can show a different directory
2. the panes are 'highly' configurable (translucent background, no
borders [i.e. only a handle or automated slide-in], profile-based
on/off for drag&drop and access from 'using' to 'working with')
3. these panes are sticky!
4. they are remembered by the session manager

Best wishes,
Dennis Heuer <[email protected]>
