Did I mention that I compile EVERYTHING? Well almost everything. I did go through some experiments with make -j, but found out it was not making any difference for EFL stuff, though it makes a difference on other projects that are bloated. Might make a difference if I had more than two cheap cores. The point I'm making though is that even from make distclean, compiling everything, it's not taking enough time to raise a sweat over. And that it is generally recommended to compile from fresh. I compile packages for distribution to, and I always start from fresh for the ones I will distribute. No nasty surprises then due to someone elses screw up in a dependency rule. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The modern datacenter depends on network connectivity to access resources and provide services.
