Unique features include: a fully animated background, nice drop shadows around windows, backed by an extremely clean and optimized foundation of APIs. . This package contains the core files for Enlightenment DR17. So there are two e17 packages available; one that provides: enlightenment and is of version cvs20080525, and one that conflicts: enlightenment and is of version cvs20080708. It appears the former is not automatically replaced by the latter (epoch perhaps?), so everyone that has the old package installed will not automatically receive the new one. Indeed, as I try to manually install the newer version: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install e17=0.16.999.043+cvs20080708-0hardy1 emodules-all [...] The following packages will be DOWNGRADED: e17 [...] Packagers: what is the recommended course of action here? If I remember correctly, with the previous command I have pinned down a specific e17 version, and will no longer receive updates on my e17 package. Is that correct? btw: thanks for the packaging :) Regards, Arno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
