Hello all,

+1. I did this update two days ago, and have been unable to use E17
since. I assumed that such a major problem would be known to the devs
already, but there has been no update yet, so I assume it is yet unknown.

alt-tab was the one I noticed first. Actually, I haven't been able to
verify whether any single keystroke works, because my applications never
gain focus.

It appears to me as a focus problem. I have focus follows mouse enabled,
but no window ever gets focus. I have two applications that autostart
when I login; they start correctly, but I can't use either one: they are
not focused on mouse-over, and alt-tabbing doesn't work either.

Another symptom I encountered: I have two screens (xinerama mode), and I
am unable to move my mouse to the other screen after I have (right or
left) clicked the desktop; this is normal (?) behaviour when the E menu
is opened, but in this case the E menu never shows up.
