Well, seems like not just anyone responded, but the ominous Rasterman himself.
Thanks for the fast response, anyways. I did try to run that command, but maybe
i did not enter the full command. Now i did a new CVS checkout, did only
autogen.sh and make, now i got a more precise error message:

     /usr/bin/edje_cc -v -id ../../data/init/images -fd ../../data/fonts
    -DLOWRES_PDA=1 -DMEDIUMRES_PDA=2 -DHIRES_PDA=3 -DSLOW_PC=4
    -DMEDIUM_PC=5 -DFAST_PC=6 -DE17_PROFILE=SLOW_PC \

[evas module] error loading the module
    /usr/lib/evas/modules/engines/buffer/linux-gnu-i586/module.so. It
    doesnt exists
    Speicherzugriffsfehler

Looked into it and i have only module.la and module.a in there.
But these .o-files are compiled modules, so i am missing
the module. What reason could there be that the module did not get compiled?

Kind Regards
