I can confirm that E has gotten a lot laggy lately.

Besides the one-second redraw on the borders that I noticed some time
ago, when the app is uniconified, now when I move windows around, I can
see the exposure events more clearly than ever before. Using the ibar
takes ~90% of the cpu, unlike the ~70% a week ago. Also, the monitor
module (which doesn't seem to cause the slowdown, since I've unloaded
it) is currently broken. The chart is drawn on top of everything else,
like text and the top layer image, thus covering everything. I think it
broke somewhere around the start of the week.

i made changes to evas - but they should improve, not degrade things in
reality. i will do some profiling - but i am not sure whats up, if someone can
identify 1 partucularly laggy thing and let me know what it is i can
concentrate on that.

Hello!

For instance, open an internal config app (window locks, remember, focus
settings, eap editor) and toggle between basic/advanced settings. You will see
that it takes a long time (about 1s here) before the window border reappears...

Cheers!
