do you too have to start kdeinit before using them? (like me)
if i don't, not a single kde app works (they complain about not reaching
klauncher), but with it, all worx like it should...

kdeinit starts automatically when I start one kde app:
# ps ax | grep kdeinit
9355 ? Ss 0:00 kdeinit Running...
9359 ? S 0:00 dcopserver [kdeinit] --nosid --suicide
9361 ? S 0:00 klauncher [kdeinit]
9363 ? S 0:00 kded [kdeinit]
9366 ? S 0:00 kio_file [kdeinit] (...)
